Founded in 1957

Name of Founders:

Bob Horton, Bill Williams, Keith Coulter, Bob Benson, Bob Borie, Jim Lane, J.D. Bowman and Bob Lathum

Wherever the US has fought, there is history to be learned.  Our members form a bridge between the past and the future, preserving not only the arms and accoutrements of the past, but the stories of those who used them.

The Santa Barbara Historical Arms Association is an association of antique and collectible arms enthusiasts.  Members consist of those who collect and are knowledgeable on items consisting of armor, rifles, pistols, cannons, swords, knives, medals and all the accessories that follow.  The association's primary orientation is pre-1890 worldwide, but does include items from WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

The purpose of the association is not forgetting the past and educating the young.
